Meet Robert Levasseur
Robert Levasseur is a native of New Hampshire where he attended St. Thomas Aquinas High School and graduated in the top 10% of his class. He was selected to attend the St. Paul’s Academy Advanced Studies program, an honor bestowed on the top 100 New Hampshire Students.
Levasseur came to Minnesota to attend Carleton College, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in 1989. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Hamline University School of Law in 1996, where he maintained Law Review status for his entire tenure.
Since 1996 Robert Levasseur has been practicing law in Alexandria, MN first as an associate at the law firm of Tillitt McCarten Johnson and Haseman. In 2000 he accepted a position at Rural Cellular Corporation as Assistant General Counsel, but was unsatisfied with corporate practice. A litigator at heart, he said he missed the client involvement and courtroom interaction.
